July 23: spiderwebs with spiders

Today we threaded spiderwebs with beads to look like dew drop and made creepy spiders to match. We are not sure why half the spiders in the class ended up pink....

July 16: woven felt bags

The children made very cute woven felt bags today. As usual some children have a hard time knowing when to stop adding embellishments! The more sequins, buttons or other glittery stuff the better!

July 9: sunflowers

The children learnt some weaving skills in making this cute sunflower. They then made some bugs to go with it. We were actually thinking of bees and lady bugs but some little boys thought that lizards and a turtle would be appropriate too!

Of course we needed to make sure that the children made their fathers a gift. They all did a great job making a picture frame:
