, The children created little doll puppets as well as scary monsters from wooden spoons

May 7: Mother's Day!

We love having reminders of how small our children once were, so decided to make plaster handprints this week which the chidren could give to their mothers for Mother's Day. As usual the children did a great job decorating them, and we only had one "broken" heart to repair!

April 30: Umbrella decorating

As the rainy season came in early this year, we decided that the children all needed their own personalised umbrellas:

April 23: sea shell flower pots

We had planned to have the children cover their flower pots with sea shells, but as quite often happens when crafting with kids, they had different ideas. They took one look at all the glass beads, and proceeded to use most of those instead! We then filled the posts with soil and planted some seeds which with some TLC will hopefully grow!

April 16: Paper mache box decorating

Today we decoarted paper mache boxes with paper, felt, beads and other fun stuff but unfortunately had technical difficulties so no photos to show!
