June 17: Father's Day penholder
Every year we find it extremely challenging to find a Father's Day gift that the children can make and the fathers will actually use. Usually this means restricting the use of too many colors as well as glitter, beads and anything too"girly"! This year, we made a pencil cube with the child's artwork, photo and the all-important "I Love You Dad/Daddy/Papa" message on the sides. A small cork notice board was added to make it more useful. Hopefully, they will all find honored places on the fathers desks!
