The original idea for this note holder came from this website but we made some changes due to lack of certain materials in Manila. They still came out amazingly cute! Love the crossed eyes!

September 1 2011: chameleons
The original idea came from this great blog where you'll find tons of other art and crafts to do with children of all ages. Gail called this lizard a gecko, but we decided to call it a chameleon. Living in the Philippines we have plenty of live geckos around and some of the kids find them decidedly "yucky" so to avoid discussions such as "Teacher, I don't like geckos...." etc, we changed the species! Thank-you to That Artist Women for allowing us to use her idea!

If you have a lot of incomplete puzzles, this is a good project to use them in.

From the photos, it is hard to tell, but these were the covers of a book we made to hold CDs.
